Transformation Programme Director

Here at ISS, as a leading Facilities Management (FM) provider, we are looking to recruit a Transformation specialist to join our largest public sector government, with a truly major government customer.

This is a national level, Hard and Soft FM account, with an estate spanning 100s of buildings.

And with the Account having gone live last year we are now looking to move to stabilisation in a number of key areas, which will require an Account dedicated Transformation Lead at Head of/Director level .

You will act as the bridge between strategic vision and operational execution, this role will shape, mobilise, and lead major initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring value is realised and sustained.

This will span IT Transformation, Engineering, Capital Projects etc

This is an exciting opportunity to make a wide-ranging impact with many stakeholders, including the client team, and improving delivery with the ISS team of over 2,300 people working on the Account.

Actions will include:

• Own the end-to-end delivery of transformation programmes, ensuring initiatives are executed on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
• Strategic Alignment:
• nsure programme outcomes are aligned with the organisation’s strategic goals and deliver tangible business value.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Engage with executive sponsors, senior stakeholders (including DWP client team), and delivery teams to maintain strong governance, clarity of purpose, and commitment across all levels.
• Drive cultural, structural, and process changes across the organisation, ensuring that people, systems, processes and policies are aligned to new ways of working.
• Planning & Governance:
• Define and manage programme plans, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), steering groups, and reporting cycles.
• Budget & Resource Management:

Monitor financial performance, control programme budgets, and manage internal and external resources effectively.

We need from you::

• Strong experience working with or transforming Operational Processes and technology in the UK FM sector
• Demonstrable experience delivering complex business transformation or organisational change programmes.
• Strong leadership and programme management skills across cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Deep understanding of change management principles and business transformation frameworks.
• Experience working with executive stakeholders and reporting at board level.
• Proficient in programme/project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MSP, Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2).
