Overview
Job Title: Senior Implementation and Adoption Manager
Join a nationally renowned organisation providing procurement services to the NHS. As the Senior lead for the Implementation and Adoption (I&A) Team, you will support the Head of I&A to deliver objectives and KPIs within the Facilities & Office Solutions (F&OS) function of NHS Supply Chain, supporting customers and suppliers to maximise the value of services across F&OS categories.
The role involves the day‑to‑day management of the I&A Team’s activities, promoting, developing and managing national programmes at NHS Trust level, and engaging with stakeholders to implement and maintain service delivery. Key accountabilities include delivering a national savings programme, managing stakeholder accounts, complying with national NHS directives, understanding end‑user buying patterns, and working with category specialists to develop future service options that meet customer requirements and feed insights back to the customer team.
You will work closely with Data Analysts and Procurement Specialists to identify opportunities for savings and innovation and to deliver quality and cost improvement initiatives for NHS customers on a national basis. You will support relationships between F&OS and other NHS organisations to promote the benefits of the organisation and ensure uptake of opportunities.
Responsibilities- Oversee day‑to‑day activities of the I&A Team; provide support and guidance on project development, savings and improvement opportunities; manage the National Healthcare Uniform project as a priority; provide reporting data as needed and report uptake at management meetings.
- Provide commercial product knowledge and implementation support to NHS Trusts; engage with new ICS organisations; capture customer insights for feedback to internal teams; identify and develop new initiatives for the wider team.
- Act as an interface between the organisation, NHS trust customers, category management, the customer management team at SCCL and suppliers to promote benefits and enable efficient communications.
- Collaborate with Data Analysts and Procurement Specialists to realise savings and innovation opportunities; help deliver quality and cost improvements for NHS on a national basis.
- Support senior relationships across NHS organisations (e.g., NHS Trusts, ICS Groups, NHSE, SCCL) to promote organisational benefits and ensure timely delivery of initiatives.

Qualifications:
Degree level education or related experience in a similar field; business management qualifications (or working towards) or demonstrable knowledge and experience in a related area. - Essential –
Skills:
Procurement understanding and the ability to benchmark and manage data; ability to manage data and produce charts and benchmarking. - Essential –
Experience:
Previously working in a customer facing, commercial environment with Suppliers and NHS trusts; sales and customer relationship experience with the ability to credibly communicate and negotiate at all levels, including board level; proven experience delivering projects with measurable savings. - Essential – Knowledge: Knowledge of the NHS, its structures and workforce would be advantageous; knowledge of procurement structures and regulations.
