Commercial SME Account Handler

An exciting opportunity to join one of the regions longest standing independent insurance broking and risk management companies, who have continued to organically expand their presence across the UK and still led by the family that established the business over 100 years ago! They are looking for a Commercial SME Account Handler to join their established direct client team in Bradford, and be responsible for the servicing and retention of an existing portfolio of clients.

Main duties will include:
Building strong relationships with clients to better understand their insurance needs Handle premiums up to c £20,000 Working with a broad range of clients, including, Property Owners, Retailers, Manufacturers, Motor Traders, Fleets and Professions Dealing with renewals and pro-actively ensuring a high retention level Communicating with Underwriters on a daily basis and maintaining good relationships Broking risks for new business and renewals Refer any claims through to the dedicated team Working closely with the Corporate Broking team Using the Acturis system and a selection of EDI platforms on a daily basis This is a great opportunity for someone looking to be part of a long standing business family business that is in an exciting stage of growth.
