We are looking for a talented and driven Python / AI Engineer to join a growing AI/ML Data Platform team based onsite in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a modern data platform, building scalable AI-driven solutions that power real-world decision‑making.
You will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning and AI systems within a production‑grade data environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build and maintain Python-based services within the AI/ML data platform
- Develop and deploy machine learning models into production environments
- Build scalable data pipelines for training, validation, and inference
- Collaborate with data engineers, platform engineers, and stakeholders
- Improve model performance, reliability, and monitoring in production
- Contribute to architectural decisions across the AI/ML ecosystem
- Write clean, maintainable and well‑tested code
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as Tensor Flow, PyTorch, or Scikit‑learn
- Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and backend systems
