Service Coordinator (ITSM)

Level:Junior
Reports to: Service Delivery Manager
Location: Sheffield, UK or Dublin, IE (Hybrid)

We’re growing quickly, and with significant expansion ahead, we need someone who can help keep everything organised and running smoothly. We’re looking for a Service Coordinator to take ownership of this function and support our next stage of growth.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, this is a great opportunity for someone organised, proactive, and people‑focused who wants to develop their career in service management

What the role involves

The Service Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the end‑to‑end Request Fulfilment process within the IT Service Management (ITSM) function.

This role ensures that all service requests are logged, prioritised, routed, and fulfilled effectively and efficiently in accordance with ITIL best practices. The Service Coordinator acts as a key liaison between Account Managers, Technical Teams, Customers, and the business to ensure a seamless and user‑focused service experience.

This includes reviewing request details, checking consultant/engineer availability, working with Account Managers to schedule the work, keeping everything organised, accurate, and progressing.

Your day‑to‑day responsibilities
  • Coordinating and scheduling requests / projects
  • Producing reports on request types, volumes, and trends
  • Keeping track of workloads and confidently managing multiple requests
  • Ensuring all request information is complete and ready for delivery
  • Identifying opportunities to improve how we work
  • Learning the Halo platform in depth and potentially becoming a Halo administrator
  • Supporting the introduction of new products, services, and processes as we grow
What we’re looking for
  • Relevant experience in scheduling, coordination.
  • Experience with IT service tools (Halo, Service Now, Jira Service Management etc.)
  • An interest or understanding of IT or cybersecurity (a plus)
  • Excellent organisation and scheduling skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Clear communication skills and confidence working with different teams
  • A proactive mindset with a desire to improve processes
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes is an advantage
