Head of Content

We’re looking for a Head of Content to join the team and take a leading role in shaping the direction, quality, and consistency of our content for our client

YOU MUST HAVE EITHER A BACKGROUND IN SCIENCE OR A STRONG UNDERSTANDING AND INTEREST IN SCIENCE FOR THIS ROLE

• You Tube (shorts + long-form)
• Linked In & newsletter content
• Brand and partner communications

We're building a professional content team that can match the depth and tone of our founder - technically rich, structurally tight, and never dumbed down.

You’ll be joining a small, global, remote team and working closely with collaborators to help guide content decisions and support execution as the scope of our work continues to grow.

• We’re looking for someone who brings judgment, structure, and clarity to content.
• In particular:
  Strong science communication skills
• You have a solid science background (Masters or PhD or equivalent research experience) and are comfortable engaging with complex scientific topics, while translating them into clear, accurate, and compelling narratives for a general audience.
• Experience with You Tube and digital content
• You understand how You Tube works as a platform and have experience shaping, evaluating, or leading content in a You Tube or social media context.
• Editorial and writing capability
• You’re comfortable working with scripts and written material, giving direction and feedback, and helping shape content at the idea and narrative level.
• You’re able to keep track of multiple projects, timelines, and managing people at the same time, and are comfortable operating in a fast-moving, remote environment.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills
• You communicate clearly and are comfortable taking ownership and making content decisions.
• Bonus Points For - Experience writing for You Tube, podcasts, Substack, or media platforms
• Familiarity with venture-backed science startups or tech commercialisation
