IT Administrator

Amiqus are currently working with Steel City Interactive, a Sheffield-based games development studio, to help them find an IT Administrator to join their team.

SCI was born out of passion for video games and boxing, with the ambition to create an authentic and exciting boxing game that does justice to the sport they love. What started as a fun prototype has grown into ‘Undisputed’, the first major boxing video game in over a decade.

They are looking for a proactive and skilled IT Administrator to support both their head office in Sheffield and their satellite Leamington Spa site.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated to learn new skills and systems, own parts of the infrastructure and have a drive to develop within the existing team. In this hands‑on role, you’ll support the core technology that powers day‑to‑day studio operations — including servers, networks, and workstations.

• Experience in an IT Administrator, IT Support, or Infrastructure Support role.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365.
• Good working understanding of networking fundamentals — VLANs, switching, routing, VPNs, firewalls.
• Solid troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex system and user issues.
• Clear communication skills — able to work closely with technical and non-technical teams.

This is an onsite role in Sheffield with travel required to Leamington Spa.
