Technical Recruiter (UK/Europe) at Pyramid IT Consulting

Mode: Hybrid for 2 days on site in a week

Location: Sheffield, UK

Type: Inside IR35 Contract

• GCB equiv grade: One @ GCB4 and one @ GCB5
• Length of contract: 12 months, with appropriate break clauses.
• Job Description: BA resource is needed to assist existing Dev Ops staff across the portfolio of projects.

The role will support a portfolio of projects, and include analysis, planning, data extraction, app build, testing, migration, and post-live support.

Ideally looking for a Technical BA with good Dev Ops experience and experience working with apps/tools such as:

• Jira
• Confluence
• Git Hub
• Build and deployment tooling (CI/CD / Jenkins / Ansible)
• Monitoring & logging tools (Splunk, etc)

Preferred if candidate has a good mix of the following:

• +5 years’ experience with software delivery in banking / finance / fintech
• Independent worker with ‘can do’ attitude, ability to learn quickly, and strong sense of ownership to get the job done (high priority)
• Problem‑Solving and Adaptability:
  Proven capability in identifying root causes, troubleshooting incidents, and developing effective solutions (high priority)
• Good written & verbal communication skills and people skills, and build good working relationships with team and wider stakeholders (high priority)
• Ability to speak / read in additional languages an advantage
• Broad knowledge of IT controls and best practice
• Project experience across large matrix organisation
• Ability to gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements from stakeholders.
• Process Improvement:
  Experience in mapping, documenting, analysing process flows to identify opportunities for automation and optimization within a Dev Ops context.
• Good working experience of Excel, Powerpoint, Word
• Familiarity with database concepts and the ability to query and analyse data
• Experience with M&A, integrations, divestitures would be a plus (not essential)
