Role Overview
Experis UK is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Programme Manager to lead a ~$4m global infrastructure upgrade programme spanning 23 countries. The programme involves software upgrades and targeted hardware refresh across the Dealer board estate, requiring strong leadership, stakeholder management, and disciplined execution.
Location & DurationLocation: Hybrid (60% office – 40% Sheffield)
Duration: Until 30/11/2026
Rate: £481
- Programme Leadership & Delivery: Lead end-to-end delivery of a ~$4m infrastructure programme; manage scope across software upgrades and hardware components; coordinate multiple work streams and dependencies; build and maintain an integrated programme plan, milestones, RAID, reporting cadence, and governance routines.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage and influence demanding business stakeholders; drive effective decision-making with senior stakeholders; maintain stakeholder alignment across 23 countries.
- Governance, Risk & Control: Establish and operate programme governance (steerco, working groups, checkpoints); own RAID management; ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and operational risk standards.
- Delivery Execution (Infrastructure Focus): Coordinate delivery across infrastructure teams (networks, end‑user compute, platform services, service management); drive environments through lifecycle milestones; ensure service readiness and support model alignment.
- Financial & Vendor Management: Manage programme budgets, forecasting, cost tracking, and financial reporting; support procurement processes and vendor performance; ensure clear contracts and deliverable tracking.
- Demonstrable experience delivering infrastructure programmes of significant scale and complexity.
- Strong track record of managing senior and demanding business stakeholders.
- Experience delivering technology change across multiple countries/regions.
- Strong governance discipline: programme reporting, RAID, dependency management, steering forums.
- Ability to operate in regulated, control‑focused environments with understanding of risk and operational readiness.
- Experience with global end‑user/desk infrastructure, trading floor or comparable high‑availability environments.
- Knowledge of change/release management and service transition concepts (ITIL‑aligned).
- Familiarity with delivery frameworks (Agile, PRINCE2/MSP, PMI) and practical application.
- Delivery leadership: clear direction, accountability, momentum.
- Communication: concise, confident updates for technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Resilience under pressure: calm, structured, decisive.
- Commercial acumen: effective budget oversight, vendor engagement, value‑focused decisions.
