An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Pharmacy Team at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust. Based at the Trust's acute site, you'll work within a supportive team and gain experience across a wide range of paediatric specialities, including neurosurgery, oncology, endocrinology, orthopaedics, neonatal surgery, and more.

About You

MPharm degree Pharmacist registered with GPhC (or soon to be registered)

Main duties of the job

Reporting into the Senior Pharmacist, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering high-quality medicines optimisation to children across Sheffield, South Yorkshire, and surrounding areas
  • Gain experience through a structured rotation programme in Clinical Pharmacy Services across specialist medical and surgical wards
  • Participate in operational Pharmacy Services alongside clinical duties
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services at the Trust's acute site
  • Develop expertise in a wide range of specialities
  • Work under the guidance of senior specialist pharmacists within a team of approximately 60 pharmacy staff
  • Encouraged to undertake a Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy
  • After initial training, participate in the on-call service on a rotational basis, including weekends and Bank Holidays
