Job Description

Currently, we have an excellent opportunity for a Night Senior Care Assistant to join a luxury care home in Lancashire, providing high-quality care to residents.

Salary: £13.20ph (£16.50 overtime)

Position:
Snr Care Assistant – Nights

Hours:
Full Time – 8pm to 8am on a two-week rolling rota

Setting:
Luxury Care Home – Dementia/Elderly care

Location:
Chorley, PR7

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and supervising a team of care assistants during night shifts.
• Administering medications and ensuring proper documentation.
• Monitoring residents’ conditions and responding to any changes in health.
• Developing and reviewing care plans tailored to resident needs.
• Conducting risk assessments and ensuring safety compliance.
• Promoting person-centred care for each resident.
• Supporting care assistants with training, guidance, and mentorship.
• Coordinating with healthcare professionals to ensure resident care.
• Promoting safeguarding practices to protect vulnerable adults.
• Ensuring the home is compliant with company policies and CQC regulations.

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has:

• VQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Experience working in elderly care and dementia settings.
• Experience leading a team, particularly during night shifts.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessments and care plan development.
• A passion for delivering person-centred care and supporting residents
