One Health is looking for a Consultant Urologist

The successful candidate will have experience working within a similar role in a private or NHS setting. You should have a professional outlook,empathetic telephone manner and understand the importance of patient confidentiality.

You should currently be in a substantive NHS post OR in a long-term locum post (more than 3 years)

If not in current

NHS post, should have been a substantive NHS consultant for at least 3 years before leaving the NHS

On GMC register andhave no hearings or restrictions

Should have relevant sub specialist qualifications

Be on the specialist register

This role will involve assessing and operating on NHS patients referred to One Health, via the NHS e-Referral System. Appointments will be held across a number of outreach clinic sites across South and West Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire. Operations willtake place within a range of independent sector hospitals, the Consultant must therefore be prepared to travel.

One Health was established in Sheffield in 2004 and has successfully grown to become a significant healthcare provider in the region. One Health is looking for a Consultant Urologist to support and grow the One Health Group Urology team. The role will involve assessing and operating on NHS patientsreferred to One Health via the NHS e-Referral System. All surgeons who workwith One Health will be subject to our onboarding process and approval from our Clinical Governance Lead. Practicing Privileges will be required to be obtained for each hospital where procedures are undertaken.
