Senior Support Worker / Team Leader
Location: Yorkshire
Salary: £14.30 – £15.36 per hour
Working Hours: Full Time, 2 days on / 4 days off rolling rota
Pay Per Sleep: £50 per sleep
Service: Children’s Home
Service Users: YPs aged 7–18 with complex needs, trauma, EBD
Qualifications: NVQ/Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare
Experience: Residential setting, child welfare

We are looking for caring, resilient and motivated Senior Support Workers / Team Leaders who want to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people.
Key Responsibilities- Leading shifts and supervising staff
- Building positive relationships with young people, families and professionals
- Contributing to care plans, risk assessments and supporting implementation and reviews
- Supporting daily routines, education and emotional wellbeing
- Ensuring accurate high-quality records are maintained
Shift Pattern: 7:30 am – 11:00 pm and sleep‑ins 11:30 pm – 7:30 am (2 days on / 4 days off rolling rota)
Do not apply for this role if any of the following apply to you- You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and do not have a car
- You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care – this is not deemed equivalent
- You only have experience
- You require sponsorship – no sponsorship available
- Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children’s Home will not be considered
