The Role
We support individuals in their own homes, assisting those with learning disabilities, mental health issues, physical disabilities, and personal care needs. We are currently seeking dedicated Support Workers to join our team and help make a real difference.
Role OverviewAs a Support Worker, you will assist with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure individuals can access and enjoy their local community. You will also support with personal care, medication management, and maintain a clean, safe living environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support individuals to live independently by encouraging participation in daily activities such as meal preparation, budgeting, and personal care.
- Administer medication accurately and on time following protocols.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and accessible home environment.
- Promote healthy relationships with family, friends, and the wider community.
- Provide practical and emotional support for shopping, appointments, social activities, and hobbies.
- Assist individuals in accessing community resources and activities to enhance social inclusion and well‑being.
- Accompany individuals outside the home for hospital visits, holidays, or appointments at police stations when required.
- Respect personal preferences and promote independence and individuality.
- Report to the Service Manager on progress and ensure care plans are followed.
Part Time and Full Time positions available. 16–36 hours (Bank contracts also available). Shift Patterns vary – discuss on interview.

- Genuine caring and compassionate attitude.

- Experience in a support setting.
- Knowledge of person‑centred care principles.
- Independent and team‐orientated working style.
- Flexibility to provide support outside of the home.
- Availability for alternative weekend shifts.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) desirable.
- Full UK driving licence – essential.
- Flexible working with permanent contracts.
