The Agile Research Delivery Team (ARDT) islooking for experienced Nurses/MAHPs to join a dynamic mobile team, with anumber of posts available in all of the 3 subregions of Yorkshire and Humber.

This advert is for the posts available in the South Yorkshire Region.

TheARDT works across Secondary Care, Primary Care and Wider Care settings,delivering a variety of Commercial and Non-Commercial research studies andtrials. The Senior Nurse post would ideally suit someone who has experience of delivering research in a dynamic environment and/or experience of community based practice.

These posts will be employed through Leeds Teaching Hospitals with the The operational base will be the Wizu Workspace, 32 Eyre Street, Sheffield, S1 4QZ
for the South Yorkshire Region

TheARDT Senior Nurse will be required to travel throughout the West Yorkshireregion delivering all aspects of clinical and non-clinical research.

The following areas of expertise are advantageoushowever not essential, Commercial Research Delivery with IMP administration,Mental Health, Community or District Nursing, Supporting those living with Dementia and Prisons.

Therole will mainly be responsible for

Managing multiple concurrent projects and research sites, requiring flexibility andadjustment according to demand.

Managesall aspects of study delivery including; screening, recruitment (including obtaining informed consent), delivering interventions, follow ups, data management, sample collection and processing as required, across allspecialties and settings.

Actin accordance with current legislation, including Good Clinical Practice,research governance legislation, and the Data Protection Act.

Contribute to the leadership and management of a dedicated research delivery and supportteam, with adherence to Host policies and procedures. This may include

undertakingsupervision, mentorship and staff reviews to identify training and development needs, and establishing how those needs will be met, and managing performance against agreed objectives.

Whenrequired, participate in the selection and interviewing of staff for the Agile Research Delivery Team.

Participate in the induction of new staff joining the Agile Research Delivery Team.

Managesown workload seeking guidance from peers when necessary.

Maysupervise the work of others as directed by the Team Manager.

Actsas a role model for others.

Awareness of professional codes of conduct/standards, and co-ordinate professionalupdating and continuous development of staff within the Agile Research Delivery Team.

TheNIHR RRDNs have three key roles.

First, to provide support to research sites to enable the effective and efficient initiation

and delivery of funded research across the health and care system in England.

Second, to enable the strategic development of new and more effective research

deliverycapability and capacity. This includes bringing research to under-servedregions

and communities with major health and care needs.

Third, to work jointly with the Coordinating Centre in the strategicoversight of the NIHR

R.This ensures that the Portfolio is maintained as a cohort of high-quality,fully-

funded,viable and deliverable studies. It also ensures that the NIHR RDN as a wholeserves the needs of researchers and R&D teams and is responsive to thechanging domestic and global environment for health and care, life science sand health research.
