Domiciliary Care Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients with mobility and physical activities as needed.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements outlined in care plans.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes to the care team.
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Drive clients to appointments or social activities when required.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients by following health and safety protocols.
• Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to enhance their quality of life.

• Previous experience in a care role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with IT systems for record keeping is beneficial.
• A good command of English is required for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
• Experience in home care or within a care home setting is desirable but not mandatory.

• To be able to start by 7am
• Driving License required
• 30 Hours can be worked over 5 days
• 06:45 to 15:00 and 15:00 to 11:00 shifts
• Must to work alternate weekends
