Clinical Lead; Theatre

Responsibilities

• Lead and support staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care
• Collaborate with fellow clinical leads to oversee day-to-day operational management
• Ensure the efficient use of staff and resources, contributing to a safe and effective surgical environment
• Line Management (Approx. 9 people) Clinical 50% (including bleep holding and clinical sessions)
• Audit Lead Medicine and Gastro Lead Health and Safety Lead Decontamination Lead Sustainability Lead IPC
• Undertake on call as necessary to the service
• Management of a designated area ensuring effective utilisation of resources, use of safe practice, adherence to Trust policies and procedures.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to provide clinical leadership within a defined area of responsibility in our Operating Department.

• RN Child (RSCN) or RN or ODP diploma of higher education equivalent theatre related qualification
• Educated to degree level or clear equivalent experience in a theatre leadership role
• Paediatric Life Support Qualification
