Night Recovery Worker
Mental Health Matters offers a night and shift‑based role for experienced mental health crisis workers. The position is based in Sheffield and is part of a new 24/7 mental health service delivering support to those recently discharged from hospital and to reduce A&E attendance.
Hours of workBoth full‑time and part‑time night shifts are available, including evenings, weekends and occasional nights.

About the roleYou will provide non‑clinical crisis support, ensuring services are safe, effective and responsive to individual needs. The role requires you to operate in an honest, non‑judgemental manner and to mobilise new services where possible.
About youYou are an experienced mental health crisis worker, a strong team player, and a good advocate for mental health. You can work shifts that include evenings, weekends and nights, and you possess excellent communication skills, data‑recording experience, and the ability to engage with a wide range of individuals. You demonstrate strong emotional intelligence and an understanding of complex mental health needs.
