Central London (Hybrid) – £32,000 – £40,000 + Full study support ATT/CTA

Butler Rose Public Practice is working with a prominent, well‑established mid‑tier accountancy firm based in Central London to recruit a Corporate Tax Semi‑Senior. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your corporate tax career within a supportive, collegiate environment that values professional development and work‑life balance.

You will join a busy corporate tax team, supporting senior colleagues with day‑to‑day compliance work across a diverse corporate client portfolio. Clients range from owner‑managed businesses and entrepreneurial companies to larger corporates, multinational groups and FCA‑regulated entities, providing varied and interesting exposure.

• Preparation of corporation tax computations and CT600 returns
• Assisting with deferred tax calculations for financial statements
• Reviewing draft accounts to identify tax issues
• Handling HMRC correspondence and routine compliance matters
• Liaising with audit and accounts teams to resolve tax queries
• Monitoring workflow trackers and maintaining accurate records
• Supporting senior team members and providing regular progress updates
• Developing technical knowledge through research and on‑the‑job learning

• Ideally 12‑18 months’ experience in a similar corporate tax focused role at an Assistant or Semi‑Senior level working for a reputable UK‑based firm
• Solid experience preparing corporation tax computations
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work accurately under pressure
• Proactive, self‑motivated and keen to develop technically
