This is an interesting project role for an experienced Management Accountant who is looking to gain exposure in a more commercial project environment. The successful candidate will have extensive full management account preparation experience, with strong communication skills and the availability to start straight away.

• Preparation of month end journals
• Issuing month end finance reports to budget holders, together with staffing and non-pay reports
• Arrange monthly meetings with heads of each department to discuss variances to budget, and provide support with quarterly re-forecasts
• Producing a monthly Project spend report for all projects, inc. capital / revenue split vs budget for current month, YTD and full year forecast, reconciled to Agresso
• Supporting the Project Owner with the project expenditure request, followed by analysing spend / commitment, and preparing spend forecasts
• Assist with post completion review when required
• Adding completed assets to the register with appropriate narrative/componentisation, and applying the correct asset life
• Calculating and posting depreciation each period
• Reconcile fixed asset register to GL each month
• Producing annual depreciation budget

• At least 2 years’ experience producing end to end management accounts in a busy finance function
• Available immediately
• Experience dealing with high volumes of financial data and coding
• Strong IT skills and advanced Excel skills (experience using Agresso will be highly advantageous)
