Job Description

At Sopra Banking Software an exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading financial software provider as a Project Manager, overseeing a range of client software implementation projects.

As a Project Manager, you will maintain a high profile with both internal stakeholders and our client base. You will be responsible for Project Managing complex cloud migrations, alongside software upgrades and new implementations. This opportunity is ideal for someone with five years of Project Management experience in customer software delivery. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fantastic and positive team, where you can truly make your mark.

Qualifications

  • 5 years Project Management experience in customer software delivery
  • Expertise in managing software implementations and upgrades
  • Experience with on‑premises to cloud migrations
  • Proven experience in managing large, complex projects
  • Extensive experience of standard PM responsibilities

    Project commercials

    Project planning

    Forecasting and estimating

    Monitoring and reporting

    Risk & Issue management

    Finance management and budgeting

    Change management
  • Comfortable in dealing with RAG escalations and providing back to green actions
  • Familiar with working with a resource matrix
  • Experience of stakeholder management and building positive relationships
  • Significant experience of face to face customer interaction
  • Adhering to and supporting a governance framework

    Experience of working within a large, complex ecosystem
  • Experience of working within a close‑knit team, providing leadership and mentoring

Desirable skills we can provide training on :

  • Have an understanding of mortgages and mortgage products

    Current Project Management certification (Prince2, PMP, Agile PM, etc)
  • Supplier / 3rd party management
  • Understanding of cloud migration and AWS

Salary range for this role is £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
