About the Role

We are looking for an Ongoing Monitoring AML Analyst to join our team in Sheffield. This is a 24 month fixed‑term contract role and an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a career in Risk and Compliance.

In this key role you will work within our Ongoing Monitoring Team, responsible for the administration of the ongoing monitoring of our client database. The primary focus is to ensure client due diligence held on file is up to date, accurate and meets the Anti‑Money Laundering and Counter‑Terrorist Financing responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Assess the risk profile of existing clients and any changes over time.
  • Liaise with Partners on client due diligence issues.
  • Run company searches and press searches.
  • Support the Deputy Money Laundering Officer on the administration of general anti‑money laundering issues and client due diligence matters.
  • Assist AML team members with research projects and day‑to‑day compliance with AML regulatory matters as they arise.
Qualifications
  • Educated to degree level and/or qualified in KYC/Compliance, with experience in a professional services environment.
  • Knowledge of the Money Laundering Regulations 2017 and the EU’s 5th Money Laundering Directive.
  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to analyse, research and make informed decisions.
  • Solution‑driven approach with the ability to take a practical, common‑sense approach to resolve issues.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good time‑management skills to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal, written and face‑to‑face communication skills.
  • Desire to work in a team but also self‑motivated.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
  • Enthusiastic, positive and committed team member.
