Maintenance Engineer; Electrical bias

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a heavy manufacturer to recruit an Maintenance Engineer (electrical bias) to join their established team in Sheffield.

Salary- £% pay rise in April

Shifts-Week 1 - Monday to Friday - 6am till 2pmWeek 2
- Monday to Friday - 1pm till 9pmWeek 3
- Monday to Thursday 8.30pm till 6.30amBenefits:

Duties of the Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) will include:

• Carry out work orders by the Planned Preventative Maintenance system
• Undertake diagnostic checks in machinery breakdown
• Complete timely and appropriate remedial work to return the plant to service.
• Identify any spare part requirements
• Diagnosing breakdown problems
• Install and commission to recognised standards any new or relocated equipment within the site.

We are keen to speak with Maintenance Engineers (Electrical bias) who possess the following:

• Electrically qualified with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
• Ideally apprentice trained
• Have experience within a manufacturing maintenance environment- ideally heavy industry
• Experience with PPM’s and breakdowns
