Sheffield – Industry: Heavy Engineering – Shift Pattern:
Two‑shift rotation (moving to 3‑shift in the near future). Days: 6:00am – 4:00pm, Nights: 4:00pm – 6:00am. Salary: £19.50 per hour + shift allowance (approx. £47,000 pa).

We are looking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well‑known heavy engineering firm in Sheffield. The role is part of an ongoing expansion project due to increased workload, with several long‑running contracts acquired that have a 5‑year projected length.

• Electrical fault finding, maintenance and repair on heavy engineering / industrial equipment
• Planned and reactive maintenance across the site
• Working closely with mechanical engineers and production teams
• Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with current regulations

• Apprentice‑trained or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations – essential
• 17th and/or 16th Edition – advantageous
• Strong electrical fault‑finding skills in an industrial environment
• Experience with in heavy engineering, manufacturing or similar industrial settings
• Comfortable working a rotating days and nights shift pattern
