Our client is seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Manager to play a pivotal role in delivering robust environmental governance and supporting their ambition to lead in sustainable aviation. Reporting to the Net Zero Senior Manager, this role will ensure full compliance with environmental legislation while helping to shape and implement a forward-thinking environmental compliance strategy.

You will lead the development and management of environmental compliance processes across the organisation, working collaboratively with internal teams including Legal, Projects, Estates and Technical Services, as well as regulators and external stakeholders. A strong technical understanding of environmental permits, consents and planning conditions is essential, particularly in relation to water discharges, ground contamination, air quality, waste management and combustion plant emissions.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of ISO
14001 and ISO
50001 management systems, alongside experience conducting internal and third-party audits. You will oversee emissions testing, manage trade effluent consents, support drainage infrastructure upgrades, and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements. You will also contribute to climate adaptation planning by identifying risks and implementing operational improvements.

As a key member of the Sustainability team, you will streamline compliance reporting, strengthen risk governance processes, and support delivery of the wider Responsible Business Strategy. Engagement with third-party partners and tenants will be critical to minimise environmental risk and promote best practice.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years' experience in environmental management within a complex operational environment, a relevant degree, and excellent organisational, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills. This is an exciting opportunity to help future-proof operations while delivering meaningful environmental impact.
