Associate Director Transport Planner - Sheffield

You will be stepping into a senior, influential position where your expertise as an Associate Director Transport Planner directly shapes major development projects across the UK. This is a chance to combine technical excellence with leadership, autonomy and long‑term career progression within an employee‑owned consultancy.

• Deliver site appraisals and support site promotion work
• Prepare and review Transport Assessments and Transport Statements
• Develop Travel Plans and sustainable mobility strategies
• Undertake junction and network modelling
• Support development planning and infrastructure planning work
• Manage data analysis, forecasting and technical reporting
• Lead stakeholder engagement and maintain strong client relationships
• Manage workloads, priorities and project delivery on a day‑to‑day basis
Qualifications
• Proven experience delivering transport planning projects at a senior level
• Strong report writing and communication skills
• Confidence managing clients and stakeholder relationships
• Experience using ARCADY / PICADY, TRICS, TEMPro and AutoCAD
• Motivation to uphold high technical standards and mentor others
Salary & Benefits

Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 dependent on experience. You will be based in Sheffield, working on a hybrid basis with agreed core office days. You will benefit from structured CPD, chartership support (CIHT, CILT or TPS), regular reviews and clear progression at Associate Director level and beyond.
