SCADA Tester - Utilities

A leading utilities company is seeking a skilled SCADA Tester for a 6-month contract, with strong potential to extend beyond 12 months. This hybrid role offers remote flexibility with an expectation of 3 days per week onsite in Warwick (with potential to shift to full-time onsite).

As a SCADA Tester, you'll play a critical role in validating and ensuring the reliability of OSII Monarch SCADA systems. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design test plans, identify issues, and ensure functionality across complex, high-impact infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct testing to validate the successful transition between Legacy systems and the SCADA environment.
• Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and scenarios to validate system performance.
• Identify, log, and manage risks and issues arising during the testing life cycle in your area of responsibility.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and project leads, to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Lead defect triage for your ART Team ensuring the right stakeholders are engaged.

Skills/Must have:

• Previous project experience with Power utility Transmission networks, functional testing, communication testing, and performance testing.
• Exposure to OSI Monarch Testing Utilities, previous experience of SCADA and Reat-Time Control and NMS (Network Monitoring Systems).
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to power systems and control systems engineering (eg, IEC
  101, IEC
  104, GI74, IEC 61850, IEEE standards.
• Monitor and report on the progress of test preparation and execution of JIRA/XRAY Tests.
