Mechanical Service Assistant

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off

Hours:

6am to 6pm

What you'll be doing in your new Mechanical Assistant Role

To carry out minor vehicle repairs to keep our fleet moving
Carrying out routine vehicle servicing in line with our standard operating procedures
To attend on-road vehicle breakdowns and recoveries
To ensure all parts are booked out from stores using the correct procedure
To adhere to good housekeeping practices including general tidiness in the workshop and the return of all tools and equipment to their designated place
Taking part in training and development to grow your skills
Working with full PPE and overalls provided

What you'll need for your new Mechanical Assistant Role

A basic knowledge of heavy motor vehicles is essential
A valid UK driving license is essential
You must be able to work unsupervised or as part of a team
Possession of a PSV license is desirable but not mandatory
You must be a UK resident and prove right to work status
