Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a well-established international manufacturing organisation to appoint a Continuous Improvement Engineer to support operational performance across its UK sites. This role offers the opportunity to lead meaningful improvement activity within a fast‑paced production environment, working closely with site leadership to embed Lean thinking, improve daily performance and develop a strong continuous improvement culture. The position is based in Sheffield, with some travel to other UK locations as required.

• Lead and support continuous improvement activity across manufacturing operations.
• Drive daily performance management and problem‑solving on the shop floor.
• Identify improvement opportunities aligned to safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Manage a pipeline of CI projects, ensuring clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Facilitate workshops, improvement events and root‑cause analysis sessions.
• Coach and support operational teams in Lean tools and CI best practice.
• Track progress, report on results and escalated risks where required.
• Support the implementation and sustainability of standardised ways of working.

• Proven experience in a Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence or similar role within manufacturing.
• Strong working knowledge of Lean methodologies and problem‑solving techniques.
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or above) or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable operational improvements.
• Confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.
• Data‑driven mindset with experience analysing performance metrics.
• Comfortable working in an onsite, hands‑on manufacturing environment.
