PK Education are looking for reliable and conscientious Exam Invigilators to support secondary schools across South Yorkshire during exam periods. This role is ideal for individuals who are organised, attentive, and looking to support schools in ensuring examinations run smoothly and fairly.

Job Overview

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play an important role in supporting the examination process by supervising students undertaking school and external exams. Working as part of a team, you will ensure all examinations are conducted in line with school policies and official exam regulations, helping to maintain a fair and secure environment for all students.

About the Role

In this role, you will help prepare examination rooms, admit and seat candidates quietly and efficiently, and distribute and collect exam papers. You will ensure examinations begin and end at the correct times while maintaining a calm and focused atmosphere throughout. The role also involves monitoring students during exams, responding appropriately to any minor issues, and being prepared to assist or escort candidates in the event of an emergency.

Your attention to detail and vigilance will help ensure that all exams are conducted according to required procedures.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for reliable, organised, and flexible individuals with a good standard of education and strong attention to detail. Candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a calm and professional approach, and the confidence to work both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in a school setting can be beneficial but is not essential. A strong understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and maintaining professional standards is important for this role.
