Pay: £140 - £195 per day (dependent upon experience, training, qualifications & client rate available, inclusive of holiday pay)

As a Chemistry Teacher, you will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop confidence and curiosity within science. This flexible daily supply role offers the opportunity to work in a variety of secondary schools across Sheffield, making it ideal for teachers seeking variety, work‑life balance, or new classroom experiences. While this is primarily a daily supply position, there are also longer‑term and temp to perm opportunities available for teachers looking for greater consistency or a permanent role.

You will be joining supportive science departments that value practical learning, academic progress, and strong classroom relationships.

• Deliver engaging and challenging Chemistry lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Adapt pre‑planned lessons to suit different classroom settings
• Prepare pupils for assessments and GCSE examinations
• Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with science departments and senior leaders
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
• Degree in Chemistry or a related Science subject
• Experience teaching Chemistry at Key Stages 3 and 4
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A confident, adaptable and engaging teaching approach
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
