Subject Specialist Teachers Required Across South Yorkshire

Teaching Personnel is recruiting passionate and dedicated Subject Specialist Teachers to work in secondary schools across South Yorkshire. We are seeking qualified teachers across a range of subjects to support our partner schools with both long‑term and permanent vacancies.

Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we have opportunities to match your skills, subject expertise, and career aspirations.

The Role

As a Subject Specialist Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons within your subject area
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
  • Maintain strong classroom management and positive behaviour standards
  • Contribute to departmental planning and school‑wide initiatives

Assignments may range from short‑term cover to full academic year placements and permanent positions.

We Are Looking For Candidates Who:
  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for their specialism
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Are committed to raising attainment and supporting student progress
  • Have (or are willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
