About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor
, you will supervise classes, maintain engagement, and support learning during teacher absences. You will help deliver pre-prepared lessons, manage behaviour in line with school policies, and provide feedback to teaching staff. This role is a unique chance to gain practical classroom experience and contribute to the education of students with SEN.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise whole classes during teacher absence
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials across different subjects
  • Maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Manage behaviour in line with school policies and SEN strategies
  • Support students with learning activities when required
  • Provide feedback to teachers following lessons
Requirements:
  • Experience working with young people or within an educational setting is desirable
  • Confidence in managing classroom behaviour independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptable, proactive, and professional approach
  • A genuine interest in education and supporting students with SEN
