Position: Science Technician - The Wren School

Overview

30 hours per week (8.30am-3pm), term time only, plus Inset days, permanent. Required to start as soon as possible. The Wren is a local school for the local community and is part of Excalibur Academies Trust.

Role Purpose

The Science Technician will work closely with the Science department to provide technical support and assist with the preparation of materials and scientific apparatus for practical work. The role is central to supporting the Science Department on many levels and offers opportunities to develop various skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to the Science department.
  • Assist with the preparation of materials and scientific apparatus for practical work.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Forward‑thinking and contribute to the student learning experience.
