We’re working closely with a range of supportive and well-regarded secondary schools across Sheffield who are seeking passionate History and RE specialists to join their teams for a variety of opportunities, including day‑to‑day supply, long‑term cover, and temp‑to‑perm placements.

• Delivering high‑quality History and/or Religious Education lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Encouraging critical thinking, discussion, and analytical skills across KS3 and KS4
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a safe, respectful learning environment
• Supporting pupils of all abilities, including those with SEND or additional needs
• Collaborating with department leads and support staff to drive student progress
• Adapting teaching approaches to engage and inspire diverse learners
• Contributing to the wider school community with professionalism and enthusiasm

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
• Specialism in History and/or Religious Education
• Strong classroom management and confident curriculum knowledge
• A positive, proactive, and inclusive approach to teaching
• A genuine passion for education and student development
