Higher level Teaching Assistant KS2 Gosport

Start Date: March 2026
Contract: Long-term with the potential to become permanent
Salary: £90 - £105 per day (Dependent on experience)
Hours: 08:30 3:30
Location: Gosport

We are looking for an experienced HLTA to work in an Ofsted rated Good school with a fantastic reputation for inclusion. The school boasts well behaved children and a supportive and established staff. This role would include covering PPA and illness throughout KS2

You must have an HLTA or CACHE level 3 qualification to apply for this role. This would be an excellent role for an ECT looking to take their first steps into teaching.

• Covering classes on a planned or ad hoc basis
• Providing EHCP support for those pupils with additional needs
• Teach booster sessions for those who need support to meet their academic targets
• Assisting teaching staff with adapting learning resources to suit individual needs.
• Encouraging students to build independence, confidence, and resilience.
• Supporting the smooth running of the classroom and fostering a positive learning environment.
• Excellent classroom management skills

• A qualified HLTA
• Experience supporting children with some additional needs
