EYFS Teacher - Flexible Supply - Sheffield
Are you a dedicated and creative EYFS Teacher seeking flexible work in Sheffield? Academics are supporting a number of friendly nurseries and primary schools across Sheffield who require reliable and enthusiastic EYFS Teachers to support their Early Years provision. This is a fantastic opportunity for an EYFS Teacher looking to gain experience across a variety of supportive settings while maintaining flexibility.
Position: EYFS Teacher / Early Years Supply TeacherLocation: Sheffield, South YorkshireContract: Temporary, ongoing flexible supplyPay: £130 - £190 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)Start Date: ASAP or a start date to suit your availability
About the Role
As an EYFS Teacher in Sheffield, you will deliver engaging and inclusive early learning experiences within Nursery and Reception classrooms. The successful EYFS Teacher will support young learners in developing key foundational skills, including communication, social interaction, and early literacy and numeracy.
Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) is required for Nursery or Preschool roles.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required to teach within Reception classes in primary schools.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative EYFS lessons tailored to individual needs Encourage children's development through structured and play-based learning Observe, assess and record pupil progress Maintain a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment Work effectively as part of the Early Years team Uphold safeguarding and school policies
Candidate Requirements
- EYTS or QTS qualification Experience working as an EYFS Teacher or within Early Years settings Strong knowledge of EYFS curriculum and assessment Positive, proactive and nurturing attitude Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
