This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or a motivated graduate looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive primary school setting.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons
• Work with small groups and individual pupils to boost attainment
• Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs (SEND experience desirable)
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
• Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation
• Promote positive behaviour and pupil wellbeing

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in EYFS, KS1, or KS2 within a primary school environment.

To be successful in this Sheffield Teaching Assistant role, you should have:

• Previous experience working in a primary school (preferred but not essential)
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
• A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
• The right to work in the UK
