Pay: £120–£200 per day (dependent on experience and pay scale)

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a confident and committed Year 5/6 Teacher to join a supportive primary school in North Sheffield, with an immediate start available.

• Full class teacher responsibilities within an Upper Key Stage 2 (Year 5/6) classroom
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
• Preparing pupils for end-of-year assessments and SATs (where applicable)
• Monitoring, assessing and tracking pupil progress
• Creating a positive, well-managed and inclusive classroom environment
• Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and the wider school team

This role has the potential to become a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.

• Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Has experience teaching within KS2 (Upper KS2 experience desirable)
• Demonstrates strong behaviour management and subject knowledge
• Is committed to raising attainment and preparing pupils for transition to secondary school
• Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to obtain one)
