Primary School Teaching Assistant

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Flexible

Salary: Competitive Rate

Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm

• Support classroom teachers in planning and delivering engaging and creative lessons
• Help create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Provide 1‑1 support to students where needed, including those with special educational needs (SEN)
• Maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour that the school holds
• Support students in activities, or interventions, building confidence and knowledge

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in Support Teaching and Learning (higher qualifications an advantage)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently while keeping a positive attitude
• Exceptional communication and relationship management skills
• Experience working with children in an education setting and has a genuine interest in child development and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
