Primary School Teaching Assistant
Are you passionate about helping children grow and succeed? We are seeking warm, caring and enthusiastic teaching assistants to join one of the multiple settings we have across Sheffield.
Location: Sheffield / Rotherham / Chesterfield
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Flexible
Salary: Competitive Rate
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Responsibilities- Support classroom teachers in planning and delivering engaging and creative lessons
- Help create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Provide 1‑1 support to students where needed, including those with special educational needs (SEN)
- Maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour that the school holds
- Support students in activities, or interventions, building confidence and knowledge
- Minimum Level 2 qualification in Support Teaching and Learning (higher qualifications an advantage)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently while keeping a positive attitude
- Exceptional communication and relationship management skills
- Experience working with children in an education setting and has a genuine interest in child development and learning
- A devoted South Yorkshire consultant offering ongoing support through work
- Flexible working that allows you to choose when working suits your schedule, via day‑to‑day working

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
