We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and forward school in Sheffield. You will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional & mental health difficulties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is patient, proactive, and passionate about helping young people thrive academically and personally.

• Provide 1:1 and small support for pupils with SEN
• Adapt learning materials and activities to meet individual needs
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, accessible lessons
• Support pupils with emotional regulation, communication, and social skills
• Contribute to EHCP reviews and liaise with external support professionals
• Create a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school, residential, care, tutoring or voluntary settings welcomed)
• A calm, patient and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to build positive and trusting relationships
• A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
• Level 2/3 TA qualification is beneficial but not essential
