  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments, while maintaining a broad and creative curriculum.
  • Use assessment effectively to monitor progress, inform planning and provide feedback to pupils and parents.
  • Support pupils in developing resilience, independence, and a love of learning.
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities and pastoral support.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain the high standards expected by the school and community.

  • Has a secure understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and the expectations of end-of-key-stage assessments.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire pupils.
  • Is reflective, ambitious and committed to their own professional development.
  • Is a team player with strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Shares the school’s commitment to high expectations, resilience and ambition for all learners.
What We Offer

  • A welcoming, inclusive community where both staff and pupils are valued.
  • Ongoing professional support from PK Education, with transparent communication and guidance.
  • Competitive pay rates and opportunities for career progression.
