PE Teacher - Secondary (Holmes Chapel Area) £160-£220 per day | Full-Time | Long-Term Role

Are you an energetic and inspiring PE Teacher with a passion for promoting health, fitness, and positive attitudes to physical activity? Simply Education is seeking a confident and enthusiastic PE specialist to join a high-achieving secondary school in the Holmes Chapel area. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator committed to motivating students and delivering high-quality PE provision across Key Stages 3 and 4.

You will be joining a supportive and well-resourced department that values teamwork, high expectations, and creating opportunities for students to excel both in lessons and through a rich extra-curricular sports programme.

• Deliver engaging and progressive PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan and deliver a broad curriculum covering a range of sports and activities.
• Promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork, resilience, and personal development.
• Use effective assessment for learning strategies to monitor student progress.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour in both practical and theory settings.
• Support or lead extra-curricular clubs, sports teams, and fixtures.
• Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or a relevant PE teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge across a wide range of sports and physical activities.
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.
• A proactive, enthusiastic approach to teaching and extra-curricular involvement.
• Experience teaching PE in a UK secondary school (preferred but not essential).
