EYFS Teaching Assistant

£90–£110 per day (depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to work in welcoming primary schools across North Sheffield
. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early years education and supporting young children at the start of their learning journey.

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging EYFS lessons and activities
• Work with small groups and individual pupils to support learning and development
• Help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment
• Support children’s social, emotional and personal development
• Assist with observations and basic assessments in line with the EYFS framework

• Previous experience working in EYFS or early years settings
• A patient, caring and proactive approach
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework (desirable)
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
