Cover Supervisor

Charnock Hall Primary Academy, part of L.E.A.D. Academy Trust, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our committed team. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils’ learning, wellbeing, and development, helping every child to reach their full potential. This is for 39 weeks per year, 32 hours per week over 5 days.

• To support teachers and students as directed and ensure that classes are appropriately managed during times of teacher absence.
• To be responsible for the delivery of pre-planned cover of lesson.
• Supporting pupils in the classroom, both individually and in small groups.
• Assisting teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons.
• Helping to create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
• Promoting independence, confidence, and resilience in pupils.
• Supporting pupils with additional needs, where required.
• Assisting with classroom organisation and administrative tasks.

• Has a genuine passion for working with children.
• Is patient, caring, and committed to inclusion.
• Has good literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
• Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
• Works well as part of a team and shows initiative.
