Nursery Assistant

As a Nursery Assistant, you will support qualified practitioners in delivering high-quality care and education to young children. You will help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment where children feel happy and supported.

• Support children with play, learning, and daily routines
• Assist with setting up activities and maintaining a stimulating environment
• Encourage positive behaviour and social development
• Help ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children
• Work collaboratively with nursery staff and Teacher Active consultants

• Previous experience working with children (nursery or early years setting preferred)
• A caring, patient, and positive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
