Position: WELFARE – PLAY SUPERVISOR
What skills and experience we’re looking for
Contributing to the development of a positive approach to play.Preparing games and activities in conjunction with other Lunchtime Supervisors both outside and inside.Leading activities and participating in play activities with children at Lunchtime.Organising and maintaining play equipment, ensuring its safe storage.Supporting lunchtime supervisors in delivering play activities.Attending staff meetings and staff development meetings when appropriate.Maintaining records of pupil behaviour where necessary.Establishing and maintaining relationships with other school staff.Participating in the school scheme of appraisal and performance management.Undertaking any other duties and responsibilities after appropriate negotiations with the postholder and trade unions, which do not change the nature of this post.To supervise the children during their lunchtime play experience.To supervise children in transition from outside / inside during inclement weather.To ensure the standards of behaviour are maintained and comply with school behaviour policy.What the school offers its staff

GRADE/SALARY
Grade 1 - SCP1-2 pro rata
HOURS
8 hours 45 minutes per week (1 hour, 45 minutes per day), term time only – 38 weeks per year. 11.30am to 1.15pm
