Position: KS1 Supply Teacher

Contract:

Full‑time or part‑time, temporary ongoing (flexible supply)

Pay: £130 - £190 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)

Start Date:

ASAP or from a start date that suits you

As a KS1 Supply Teacher in Sheffield, you will deliver engaging, age‑appropriate learning to pupils in Year 1 and Year 2, supporting their early reading, writing, numeracy and social development. Roles available range from day‑to‑day cover to longer‑term bookings for the right candidate.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned to the KS1 curriculum
• Create a positive and structured classroom environment
• Adapt lessons to meet a range of learning needs
• Assess progress and maintain learning standards
• Work collaboratively with support staff and teachers
• Follow safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Previous KS1 teaching experience (Year 1 or Year 2)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• Flexible and professional approach
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
