- Pay Scale: 95 - 115 per day
- Contract: Long-term to Permanent
- Hours: Full-time, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Long Term Futures are excited to be working with an all-through SEN school in Sheffield that is seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. The school provides specialist support for learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and pupils who may present with challenging behaviours. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse needs, ensuring they thrive both academically and socially. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of special educational needs
- Fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and structured learning environment for children with Autism
- Supporting students with social skills development, emotional regulation, and independence
- Assisting with the preparation and adaptation of learning materials
- Experience working in an SEN setting with children with Autism is highly desirable
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting pupils with complex needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for making a positive impact on children's lives - A relevant qualification in education or SEN is advantageous but not essential
